Your commission rate depends on how many active referred clients you have at the moment a new client signs up. Rates are not retroactive — each referral locks in the rate that was active when they signed, and that rate stays with them for the full 12-month commission window.

Tier Table

How Tier Progression Works

Your tier is evaluated at the exact moment each new client signs up — not at the end of the month, not retroactively.
  • Each referral locks in the rate that was active at their signup. Client number 2 stays at 10% even after you reach Legend.
  • Every new client from the moment you hit Legend earns you 35% monthly. That rate is then locked to them for their full 12-month commission window.
  • Example: You currently have 10 active referrals (Elite tier, 25%). Client 11 signs up — at that moment you have 11 active clients, so you’re at Legend. Client 11 locks in at 35% monthly for 12 months.
Focus on reaching the next tier before your next introduction. The rate locks at signup — not when you later cross the threshold.

Second-Tier Commission

Refer another partner to the program and earn 5% on the revenue generated by the clients they bring in.
  • The partner you referred must sign up through your tracked link, or via a direct introduction you notify us about before the conversation starts.
  • Second-tier commissions run for the same 12-month window that applies to the referred partner’s clients.
  • Second-tier commissions do not count toward your own tier calculation — only your direct referrals do.

Payment Timeline

1

Client payment clears

A referred client pays their monthly invoice.
2

30-day clearing window

Commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment clears. This window covers the refund period.
3

Commission paid

You receive the commission via the payment method on your partner account.
If a client’s payment fails: the referral stays alive for a 45-day grace period. If the client pays within that window, the commission timeline resumes. If they don’t, the referral closes and commission stops. If a client cancels voluntarily: commission stops when their payments stop. The 45-day grace period applies only to payment failures — not voluntary cancellations. If a client’s invoice is refunded: the matching commission is clawed back, reduced by the same share as the refund.
Commission rates apply to Setor AI’s standard $1,000/month plan. Enterprise pricing arrangements may differ — contact [email protected] for details.
